We have developed a concept we call Supply Risk Radar, and have adopted the TIMP tool to increase security, optimise risk and maintain better control and efficiency in the day-to-day follow-up work.
“After replacing Excel forms, Word documents and local files with TIMP, our processes have become far better and more secure. As a goods owner and client there are a number of requirements and rules you need to be aware of when following up suppliers and subcontractors. We want to be best in class in terms of security responsibility, and to have control in relation to the obligation to provide information, responsibility for participation and obligation to ensure compliance at all times. Our customers must have a secure supply chain with a sensible balanced risk. TIMP is a digital tool that helps us implement this in an efficient, planned and systematic manner over time.
“We were among the first in the business to adopt the solution, and have gained valuable user experience and the opportunity to influence the solution with regard to both interaction and functionality. It has been important to us to have a customised solution that suits our business. Furthermore, we are carrying out unannounced third-party spot checks, which entails a better overview of compliance with documentation,” Moltu says.
