Article 41

  1. It is obligatory to issue a bill of carriage for domestic goods and cargo transportation.
     
  2. Without prejudice to the relevant provisions of the Turkish Commercial Code dated 29/6/1956 and numbered 6762, the names, addresses, contact information of the transporter, the sender and the consignee, the type and quantity of the goods, the place of delivery and the transportation time, transportation fee, tax number of the carrier must be specified.
     
  3.  (Amended: OJ 31.12.2011-28159) Authorization certificate holders are obliged to carry a copy of the consignment note, shipment note, and the transport bill prepared in accordance with the procedure stipulated by the relevant legislation for domestic goods transportation.


Qualifications and conditions to be sought in drivers

 

Article 34 - (1) The drivers using the vehicles covered by this Regulation;

  • To have the professional competence document stipulated by the relevant legislation,
     
  •  Must be under 66 years old
     
  • The users of the vehicles carrying dangerous goods must have a document showing that they have received the training stipulated by the relevant legislation
     
  • They must not have been subject to a penalty binding freedom due to the smuggling of drugs, weapons, people and customs and terrorist crimes
     
  • To receive a medical report showing that they are physically and psycho-technically healthy in terms of the driving profession from authorized health institutions every five years is a must.


Forbidden situations in border gates and buffer zones

 

Article 61 - (1) In times of mobilization and war, tension and depression, state of emergency, disasters and emergencies, except for the permission of the border administrative authority;

 

  • In violation of the relevant legislation, passengers, goods and cargo cannot be transported by road to border gates and buffer zones. Those who act contrary to this clause are subject to administrative fines in the amount specified in sub-clause (h) of the first paragraph of Article 26 of the Law.
     
  • Goods and cargo cannot be transferred, unloaded or stored at border gates and buffer zones. Transfer and unloading operations in international goods and cargo transportation; It is carried out in other customs areas outside the border gates and under the supervision of authorized customs administrations. Those who act contrary to this clause are subject to administrative fines in the amount specified in sub-clause (h) of the first paragraph of Article 26 of the Law.
     
  •  Turkey with countries that do not belong to the vehicle international road transport agreement, Turkey or from Turkey or via Turkey to be used in transport is essential to obtain permission from the Ministry for each vehicle.

 

Turkey or the foreign-plated vehicles engaged in transportation through Turkey or from Turkey and the Highways Act 2918 are required to comply with the rules laid down in the Road Traffic Regulations
